How we work

If it can be observed, we can audit, track and report it. Consolidation within the retail sector has placed increased focus on price, with the resultant pressure on margins. We audit store compliance on retail price and promotional activity to assist manufacturers in monitoring competitor activity and developing their marketing plans.

All our audits are conducted without the knowledge of the stores concerned. That way we can be sure that we obtain a true picture of what is happening at store level, and not just what head office might want you to think! We don't rely on electronic data capture, but actually record the prices and promotions we find in store. Auditing in this way means we observe the retailer (in terms of price; promotions; point of sale material, product availability and off-shelf display etc), just as a real customer would experience it.
